For the launch of Bad Birdie’s first shoe with Payntr, we brought one of the brand’s most iconic paint-splatter prints to life. We recreated the paint splatter and captured it through a Hi8 video camera, filming it on a real analog TV to create distortion, texture, and movement. The footage was then digitized to build a raw, nostalgic visual language around the shoe and its connection to Bad Birdie’s signature print.


We used the VHS paint splatter as part of the invitation, placing the original clip inside the typography. The flyer was made as a gift.
